Enchanting Entrance

I took my oldest friend to Grange today to savour an ice-cream while we sat in a pretty tea-garden above the River Derwent. Later we walked around the village. There are many beautiful historic houses and I loved this one, with its cobbled driveway, stone gate posts, archway with lantern and a colourful display of potted plants. No snail holes in the hostas either!
