Visitors

No sooner had I rescued this female Southern hawker dragonfly Aeshna cyanea from Norman the cat ( who thought all his Christmas' had come at once!) and persuaded her to let me have a quick  photo shoot, than a second male Southern hawker flew into the conservatory!!  This was after one yesterday and one last week! 
I don't know what it is that attracts them into my house, but I am really glad I kept the Grandchildren's fishing nets from the beach, because they are excellent for getting the dragons out again!
