The Potato Man....

Richard started harvesting the potatoes today...boy do they look beautiful! Apparently his grandfather was a potato farmer in Saskatchewan , so i guess he comes by this love of digging in the dirt honestly!

Pretty soon Richard will leave us for the winter....he'll leave this weekend. We'll miss his cheerful and happy banter....i'll have to start remembering to take out the compost bin, and i'll have to relearn how many spoons of coffee go into our morning cuppa! He's off to London Ontario for the winter, and we expect to have him back here next spring.
