Eleanor....

A few weeks ago i got a wonderful surprise when Eleanor from my Ontario past, showed up on my door step! It had probably been 10 years since we last saw each other!

She now lives in Halifax, so close that we can resume our friendship, which feels just awesome!! Today, she and her boyfriend drove up to a resort about 2 hours away from me...so we planned a get together!

What a wonderful few hours we had....sitting by the water, in the sunshine, sharing delicious smoked salmon, red pepper jelly on crackers....and a beer (all provided by Eleanor)! the conversations ranged from our shared journey as craftswomen and the balance you can and need to find when self employed....talk of pricing your work, and shows that we take part in! We also did what you do best as girlfriends....we talked about men, sex and our own changing views on relationships! great stuff!!!

Thanks Eleanor for a wonderful visit. I know we'll be in touch again very soon.
