Curls and plaits

We were in charge today, as the two daughters went off on their own (they conquered Skiddaw, amongst other things). And what a day!

Waffles with maple syrup for breakfast were very popular.

A wander amongst the ruins of Lanercost Priory went down very well.

But the biggest hit of the day was the few hours spent at Grandma’s hairdressers. I had booked them in for a trim, but they had the whole works – washing, conditioning, styling, curling, plaiting. It sounds very ‘girlie’, that’s what it was and how they loved it.
