Easy Jets

That's what the youngest called them anyway - quite clever we thought. The making and flying of sophisticated paper planes was just one of many activities we seemed to fit in in one day. We did go out for a walk round the local Nature Reserve, looking out for Grumbletrog and getting very wet as we got caught in a shower. They didn't seem to care one bit. Shopping (mainly to buy fruit and veg to make a turtle - all will be revealed tomorrow), exploring Appleby Church and a visit to the playground was this morning. 

This was the best I could do in terms of photographing the launch of planes. Look carefully and you will see evidence of yet more finger knitting. We did sewing also and started a big jigsaw. We are exhausted.
