Pareidolia in Canyonlands
Yet another wonderful day in the USA. The journey from Salt Lake City to Moab was fairly long but the scenery was magnificent. We passed through real "cowboy" country and then through part of Canyonlands, with its amazing red sandstone cliffs and shapes. Needless to say a lot of photos were taken.
My main blip shows a rock formation photographed at our lunch stop; several of us thought it looked like a face, but I think I was the only one who thought it was a Tyrannosaurus Rex!
The first extra shows Mike buying some melons for lunch: they were delicious. The second extra shows interesting reflections in the windows and door of a shop in Moab. I like the boy looking through the door and the cowboy hat on the man.
A 5am start is scheduled for tomorrow, to get to the Arches National Park in time for sunrise...
