Goodbye Mountain: The Close of an Adventure

Today we signed the documents that completed the sale of our home. It was a hard decision to make. Other homes in this rural area have taken a year or more to sell and we expected the same when we listed the house at the end of June. To our surprise, we had an offer in 3 days! We moved into high gear for 45 days! 

It has been an amazing experience learning about the birds and wildlife in this area; witness the beauty and sometimes, terror, of the seasons; and having the opportunity to be embraced by this fabulous scenery every day. 

One extra shows the view from the jetted tub where I enjoyed many baths with views of the mountains, stars, and sky in all seasons. The other extra is a capture of Jeff as he watches the sun set with the pensive air.
