Beth watching Julia make tapiocas; as Beth said, impossible to describe to someone who's never eaten them - starchy Brazilian pancakes that you then smother in coconut and condensed milk, or in my case, something savoury - just butter is good.

A day too full, constant simultaneous translating for a Portuguese colleague who doesn't understand the Dutch speaker's English. But some worthwhile bits, and some special people.
