In Trust...

At a wonderful reception in the Scottish Parliament tonight to celebrate the fantastic work of the Prince's Trust in Scotland.

Not your usual Parly reception - we were all doing Mexican waves at one point - always a good idea to put young people in charge of these things I find!

Highlight of the night though was some of the young people who have been through the programmes - some of them facing the very toughest of circumstances and barriers - sharing their stories and telling us the difference it has made to their lives. Powerful, authentic and life affirming stuff - not a dry eye in the house. This is why I do what I do.
