Washington DC

Travelled further south today to spend 4 whole nights in the same motel!!

We took the Metro to the city centre and from there had an excellent 3hr hop on hop off night time open top tour of lots of the monuments and famous sights of Washington DC (see extra of the Lincoln Monument).
Everywhere looked wonderful lit up and glowing under the dark skies :-)

3 more days of sight seeing in the city & also meeting up with cousins & an uncle we haven't met for many, many years :-D
