fresh out of the wrapper

The Mule deer around here are not really wildlife, they are more like urban vermin. And we homeowners try to defend our lovely trees from the deers' voracious appetites. Here you can see that protective wrapping around the trunk of the aspen has slipped down, and the young buck is enjoying his fresh find!
