A day at the races

The final week-end of racing at Cartmel for 2017 and for once this month it was a lovely day with no rain. After 6 of the 7 races we were still in credit but I think we ended the day a couple of pounds down. The proximity of the racecourse meant we enjoyed a two mile walk there and back and thus avoided being stuck in the inevitable traffic jams.
