München

We met Jemma and Scott to watch the glockenspiel. Then a few churches - this shot is from the Assamkirche - the Viktualianmarkt and a walk through the Hofbräuhaus before jumping on the u-bahn. We went to get some bread and meat and so forth and then got the u-bahn to the Olympic park where we ate our picnic and enjoyed a beer. Then up the Olympiaturm for great views of Munich and the wider area.

Another day of tremendous weather; over 30 degrees, and tomorrow Rowan arrives - all of my children together in Munich. We're heading off into the mountains with George so it promises to be a cracker.
