Cloitre du Moissac

We walked up into the town of Moissac this morning and went into the cloisters (this is a World Heritage Site, so paying to go in is a privilege).  What an amazing place, photos cannot do justice to it.  There was a great sense of the people who gave their labours to the buildings and the art and artefacts.  Afterwards we went into the cathedral, calm and tranquil, and I sat for a while in contemplative silence. As I came out through the doorway into the town square (see extra one) I saw a big advert in a shop window showing a woman taking a selfie using a long stick.   Extra two shows an extension to the cathedral, I liked the semi-disguised buttresses.
