Fantabulous

Sorry, rubbish title, I know.

So, I have really struggled to choose an image today. It started with watching the castellers, in the square. For those of you who haven't seen this I recommend you do. The local Catalunyan teams take it in turns to build human castles. It is simply amazing - the highest I saw was 9 high. We were lucky to be stood next to a true fan who could tell us all the intricacies of the competition and translate for us.

After a lovely harbour side lunch I walked to the beach and lay for while (BIG blisters from the day before), follwed by a mojito with Jenny. Later we witnessed the Carre foc - again another 'must see' for the festival. Devils come down the street and literally spray fire into the audience. Depending on how daring you are you can get literally in amongst the procession and be showered with sparks. We stood well back.

After all that we went back to the park and saw a truly beautiful fire dance, done in a 1930's style. This is where this lovely lady featured.

And then back to the hotel to rest our weary heads.
