Silly Stadium Saturday!

Here we are in the largest stadium in the United States....it has a capacity of nearly 110,000 people...and it is nearly empty!!!

The football players are here to play, and the marching band is ready to take the field......

And the stands are holding maybe a total of 3,000 people.  

 No matter, the grounds crew were all there, cleaning up after the game, and all of the concessions were having a good sales day because it was HOT!   In fact, it was so hot that one of our tuba players took his instrument apart and used it for a hat!!  (extra)

Our grandson is in the center of the photo of the empty stadium...I took this as they were coming in with their instruments to sit down at the beginning of the game.   

It was a fantastic day, beautiful sunny weather, our team won by a big margin, and of course, the band played and marched perfectly!!!
