Running for Deep Water

Hope you are all safe and dry tonight.
Crazy weather today. Started by driving round fallen tree limbs on the way to work.
At coffee break Karatekid51 showed me a picture of footdee he had been emailed. He nipped down at lunchtime and took his blip. Wall to wall foam up of the beach and filling the streets.
Fairly late home as students are starting to put in the overtime.
Headed out in full Gortex gear for Torry and the breakwater.

This is the photograph everybody was taking.
Decided I wanted to do something a bit different so drove on round the headland towards Nigg Bay, to my favourite rocks and slipway below the lighthouse.
Waves were insane and you required to be very aware of your surroundings.
However, I got some superb shots.
This one is very simple of a supply vessel trying to fight her way round the headland having come out the harbour mouth. She was going up and down like an express elevator trying to get out beyond the surf.
