Late Night Flight
Fairly productive day at work and the weather has been gradually improving all day.
Went down the far side of the harbour, back of six as the light looked good although it was fading fast.
Was curious to see what the sea was like.
Almost flat calm, hard to believe what it had been like the same time the night before.
Took a number of shots looking across the harbour, nothing new.
Light was going fast and I decided to drive further round to where I was the previous night.
As I came round the headland I could see this chap using the remains of the easterly to lift himself up beside the lighthouse.
Dashed down onto the foreshore to be underneath him and try to catch him, the moon and the lighthouse in the same frame as he swooped back and forwards.
Took about 40 shots but never managed to get all three except on wide angle with half the cove as well.
Opted for this zoomed shot as he skimmed the top of the bank.
Worth viewing large.
