Today was mostly a driving day - from McBride to Jasper (Jasper was so fully booked we stayed 1 1/2 hours outside - not to be done again!), breakfast, a wander around Patricia Lake looking longingly at canoes and then back on the Icefields Parkway headed to Banff Canmore (Banff was fully booked back in February).

We stopped a few times, most notably to gaze at a glacier. No matter how many times I've seen them, glaciers still hold me in awe. This particular one has shrunk greatly since my parents brought me here in the 70s.
