Norwegian pulls away from Wittersham Road

Back for another turn at Wittersham Road Signalbox today on a lovely bank holiday Saturday. Lots of people on the trains which looked splendid today, especially the Victorian Set pulled today by 376, Norwegian.

Mostly things worked out well in the end. Delays at the start of the day with 1638 requiring some attention on the first down train of the day, then a few problems getting a release on the section signal even though I had obtained the token from the instrument. All of which added to the delays. But it sorted itself out and by the end of the day we were pretty much on time.

A very enjoyable, traditional Saturday night in, with the mushroom bourguignon accompanied by potatoes, cabbage and beans from the allotment.

Good to have a nice bank holiday for a change although I know it's not the same everywhere.
