Hakahaka……
………………………Bay
Marlborough, NZ
After uploading yesterday’s blip this afternoon, (a day late!) we drove along the very twisty coastal road between Picton and Rarangi Beach.
This dinghy sits on the wet sand at Hakahaka Bay, the first bay within Port Underwood, a sheltered harbour at the North-east point at the top of the South Island.
Extra photos
1 - Looking down on Hakakhaka Bay, Oyster Bay and the outer Port Underwood harbour
2 - Double exposure. These impressive pylons can be seen dotted along the route. They are rather an eye-sore to the beauty of the area, but photogenic all the same. Another view of Port Underwood provides the background scene.
Thank you for the comments, hearts and stars for the selection of photos from my field trip to Motuara Island. Services will return to normal from tomorrow evening.
The camera club weekend finished early this afternoon, allowing time for those travelling further distances safe travel home. We are staying overnight and will return tomorrow. As usual, the weekend has been a time of fellowship, speakers who were entertaining and informative, photo competitions and plenty of food. Altogether, it has been an extremely enjoyable weekend.
