Sad day...

It is with great sadness i blip today, the hazelhs are leaving us. The holidays and party are now officially over. 3500 km, approx 32 hrs in the car, approx 6 US states crossed, and an historic solar eclipse, funtown Nashville, and lovely camping all experienced. We had planned this 2 weeks together for 2 years and were able to squeeze in everything that we had wanted. The only thing we would change would be the Louisville lurgy joining us on the last leg of our holiday. The photos today are of the pain relief, Davids Tea Cold 911, a Dr Who booked signed by the author personally for the hazelhs (as arranged by a kind colleague of mine, fellow blipper Fieldmouse) and the breakfast i made on their last morning with us. Time now to start the washing machine and delve in to a good novel to escape from the far too quiet house, i definitely prefer the company of our awesome cousins!
