(Near to) Washington DC (Day 3)

We had the loveliest day in the country - visited my Uncle's house & my cousins hosted a belated Golden Wedding celebration for Mum & Dad.

We had an authentic American Cookout - a BBQ followed by Apple Pie :-D

It was such a special day - I hadn't seen my cousin Erin for 27 years (she was only 12 @ the time of my wedding) and now she is a Mum of the 3 sweetest little boys.

Lots of laughter, reminiscing & promises to meet up in 3 years when their older sister is based in the US embassy in Paris :-)
