Get outta my face!

I spotted this common darter enjoying the sun at lunchtime and after a couple of shots I decided to pop the macro lens on.  He was pretty chilled and I almost had my lens on his nose before he flew off!

The day started off with a wonderful sunrise (see extra) and then quickly clouded up, but nice and bright for lunchtime.

I bought a Phillips sunrise alarm clock on an Amazon deal on Sunday and got it working last night.  It seemed to wake me up quite nicely this morning, but the back up beep is very loud so woe betide those that aren't woken up by the light!
