View from my balcony

Well, got to Malta ok by Ryanair. Never flown with a 'budget' airline before and it was ok, as long as you get there in plenty of time, have your boarding info all printed out and don't forget your passport!
30 degrees celcius, steaming humidity, Great! It's nice to be back after an absence of 38 years but must admit I didn't recognise much from the airport, where I used to work, to Gzira Corniche. I did recognise the seafront of Sliema and Gzira though, hasn't changed a great deal thank goodness.
Took a walk of a couple of miles in the direction of Valletta but after getting up at 0300 this morning my feet wouldn't take going all the way. I'll try it on a bus, or the ferry is a nicer idea.
I'll try to blip daily, had problems with the standard uploader so used the basic one and it worked much better.
