Signs of the Seasonal Change

This horse chestnut tree with its red and green leaves is just outside L's flat. There are two branches where the leaves have turned the most wonderful shade of red and the rest of the leaves on the huge tree are still perfectly green.

L and I went to the Botanic Gardens today ..... very unpredictable weather! As we walked up towards the Glasshouses the sun was shining and we watched the wee toddler group in the extra shot having great fun with bubbles.
We met the same little group later on in the Kibble Palace where they were trying to get dry.  L and I heard the rain while we were inside but those wee tots got caught in the most horrendous downpour.

The second extra shows Abutilon which is growing in the Glasshouse.
