Normal Service Has Resumed

Dear O'H dear,

And so another festival comes to an end.

The festival creates an interesting divide amongst the locals: those who love it and those who wish that the Flodden wall still held invaders at bay.

I LOVE it. I love the buzz it gives the city, the excited visitors, the choice of shows, the quirky venues and even drinking warm overpriced beer from a plastic cup.

Admittedly, I may never love French poetry over dinner but I always feel a little sad when the festival is over.
