Ten down

Ten down, twenty to go. CCN have started the process of staining the timber sleepers that form part of our new bush track from the guest room to the fire circle and believe me, it's quite a task. CCN spotted an article in a recent issue of Better Homes and Gardens (see extra) and we knew immediately that it could help transform the track between one end of the house and the other.

We are absolutely delighted with the result and particularly the dusky grey stain that they recommend in the article. It's now 18 years since I built Wombat Hollow and I can't tell you how satisfying it is to see it all coming together. I reckon with a big effort we will nail the next twenty sleepers tomorrow. Might be another blip in that effort I reckon :-)
