The Sound of Silence

One of the things I love about butterflies, like this peacock in the garden today, is their silence. No sound of them taking off, or landing, or flying.
There was a buzzing noise in the kitchen this morning.
It was a wasp!
And it got  me thinking.
Is it a good or a bad thing that wasps buzz.
Because they make a noise, we know they are about and can get out of their way.
On the other hand, if they were silent, we wouldn't start waving our arms about which apparently upsets them and makes them sting.
