Anyone for vacuum fried broccoli?

AKA broccoli crisps. Might as well open a bag of farts, quite honestly. Wonder if that was the disgusting smelling snack that TMLs snoozy neighbour was eating at the cinema, in between snoring!

To be honest, I did buy these from the bargain section of H&B the other day, hurriedly looking for cinema snacks. Thank goodness I didn't actually open them at the Guildhall, we might have had to evacuate...

Back to the Guildhall tonight to see the livestream  of Lorca's Yerma with Billie Piper as the lead. Think I'll get some chilli and lemon puffs from Wilko to eat on the bus. Just call it the snack food diet. I made a gf loaf in the bread machine today, first time I'd used the gf setting.Never again! Bread's on the compost heap now. Even rats won't  eat ir. Back to home baking or buying Schar gf bread.

Later:  "harrowing" is the word I'd use to describe the modern-day version of Yerma, set in London. Yerma is Spanish for barren, so the subject is infertility. Billie Piper's performance was superb. She can put herself through the wringer, emotionally, every night, to perform this role.
