Cookrise Crags

Spent a lovely day with my Skipton family and climbed up to Cookrise Crags. Wonderful views all around. Just missed a heavy shower that must have fallen over the town but left us dry. We spotted Red Kite soaring over the moors and swallows feasting on all the insects they could find before departing to Northern Africa for a warmer winter.
I've savoured these Crags as I've enjoyed looking at them from Skipton over the last seven years so a great joy to climb to the top with all three grandchildren today.
