Colonial Willamsburg

We all chose somewhere to go on our holiday & Colonial Williamsburg was my choice.
We visited here 30 years ago and I couldn't remember it in very much detail.

Williamsburg was built in 1699 as the capital of the state of Virginia. What we visited today were some of the original buildings & many replicas set in the 1790's.

The buildings & streets were filled with actors, apprentices & masters of their craft dressed in costumes from Colonial times.
They undertook their jobs & crafts as from the 1790's and we had another great lesson in history :-)
