A couple of days early and glad to be here.

Never met such a bunch of ignorant, ill-mannered and moody people as in the hotel restaurant at breakfast time today.

How the hotel staff put up with them I do not know. I'm sure I wouldn't have their patience.

This was not the reason I came home early. But I think Fen is pleased to see me.
