What a beauty !

Yes, it's me, I'm back again with what I hope will prove to be regular blip entries this time around, courtesy of my reliable iPad! I apologize for yesterday's entry which was done with only 3 minutes to go before midnight and I wanted to make a 'come back' from the 1st September. It was what you call an emergency blip. Anyway for today I have chosen to share with you this lovely specimen of a button mushroom (!) which I have found along with some of it's compagnons, displaying their glory around our 3 birch trees which I planted (with some success I may add!) some 10 years ago. I would be interested to know if this is common as we do not have them anywhere else in the garden.... any comments would be appreciated! Well today will be a calm one for Anne and myself as I have managed to contaminate her with my head cold which I have had this past week (that's love I suppose).
