For today’s blip, I have taken a little walk in the garden where the elderly residents, like our dear friend, Marie, spend some of their time, no doubt contemplating on the past and perhaps even the future. The garden is full of beautiful trees and lots of seats, and at the far end of the garden is this little “grotto”. A seat has been formed inside to give some shade and shelter from the external elements, as there is generally more in the way of sunshine to be found in this part of the country, unlike the unpredictable and more humid climate back home in Normandy. The outside of the “grotto” is covered with pretty flowers and plants, and I feel makes a nice shot for today’s blip. Later this afternoon we will be leaving Marie to spend a day with one of Anne’s sons, Christophe, who lives about an hour away, on the road to Grenoble. I apologise for not yet replying to your many comments to my blip of yesterday. It is a little difficult for the moment, as I need to spend as much time as I can with Marie, but I will catch up with all my blips on Sunday, when I should find myself with a lot more spare time. In the meantime, I thank you once again for your following, stars and comments, and I wish you all a really nice day. Take care of yourselves.
