Watendlath

We just about manged to stay dry on our walk up to the tarn.
The National Trust have made a good repair of the bridge that was damaged in the floods.
I'd forgotten what a peaceful valley this can be with such a beautiful stretch of woodland, a path with geological wonders and the the banks were full of scabious and lovely patches of Grass of Parnassus.
Tea and cake at Grange to finish (the little cafe at Watendlath seemed very shut).
