These Three Trees

I find these three trees fascinating - they are on a peninsula into the Lake on our favourite walk, and their deadness is a sign they've been underwater at some time; nowhere near at the moment - there's not been much rain for a long time now. I always photograph them, sometimes with more land than sky, or more surrounding scenery, or over-exposed, which this is a bit, but I wanted some of the blue in the sky.

We don't get much time for walking since buying the Land, I miss it, and all the talking we do when we walk. It was really too hot, but we cooled off in the Adega on the way back, where we were invited to a birthday party tonight - so posting early, as it won't be an early night... The party is for the husband of one of the women who work there; he is usually in St Albans, working.
