Life on the Land

Our abode continues to get worse (Mike is working hard in spite of a very sore mouth), almost all of the floor is bare earth now and smells like a cave, but he's started on the "benches", guides around the sides to get the levels right. Meanwhile, cooking, showering, dressing... well, it's a challenge.

Anyway, wandered up the Land, grass crunchy underfoot, and followed this swallowtail butterfly (Papilio machaon) around for a while, trying to get a shot. Such a beauty. No idea what it might be eating, not exactly a lot of flowers about.
