Dirty Dawg

Nell decided to do this after we stopped at some woods on the way home. No where to wash her off so had to put her back in van like this with a towel wrapped round her.

The glawning was very easy to take down. Quicker than the other awning we had I think. The campsite had a nice cafe so we went in there for coffee and bacon butties before packing up.

The woods were lovely although we did get a bit lost. Mike assured us all he knew the way back as he had his maps open on his phone, so that it wasn't necessary for us to go back the way we came. As we had gone way off the original path he revealed his phone battery was about to die! It was ok in the end, we did get back obviously but we ended up being out much longer than planned. Did get a huge tub of blackberries though.

We went to scraptoft on the way home too and put some flowers on Henry's grave. Fortunately it looks like his tree is growing now but it's still very spindly so we cleared all the grass from around it to try to avoid it being chopped by the strimmer. Little Eva got very upset being up there today.

We got home late and then had to go straight back out to take Hannah's van back to her house as it was at the garage on Saturday. The kids went to the park too play tennis and fly kites with Eddie, Isla and Evie.

Mike had promised the kids pizza and a film so they opted to watch Sing. Did mean we were far too late to bed for a school night :0/
