My Favourite Place (MM189)

is on the far side of the planet! 

So - today's blip is two things which came from there ... we did only go to Sainsbury's to get the wine but the stone carving, we bought in Oamaru and was carved in the town by Ian Andersen from a piece of one of the old buildings when it was being repaired.  The trip was our 30th wedding anniversary celebration and also the honeymoon we never quite had the first time around!  The carving sits on our mantelpiece as a reminder of the trip.  Colour version in the extras along with a view across part of lake Wanaka. Not the best time of day to make a landscape photograph, but it reminds me of a great day spent in a wonderful place.
