1978 Motobecane Bicycle Rebuild

Today is the start of my 1978 Motobecane bicycle rebuild.
I had a plan to begin work on this bike in May.
Riding it is so darn much fun that I could not bring myself to take it off the road while the weather is so nice.
It is soon to have all new ball bearings, a new chain, new cables, along with new tubes / tires.
Of course all the bits and pieces will be meticulously cleaned and shined up as the rebuild progresses.
This Motobecane is a diamond in the rough just now... I look forward to blipping its rebirth in a month or two.
