We've Gotta Move These Microwave Ovens

MONDAY

Spent most of the morning loading three cars with Harriet's "basics " for university life. In addition to the essential items such as clothes, bedding, toiletries, hair dyer, tv, computer and books Harriet also took a new Nespresso machine, kitchen knives, musical instruments, pedal cycle, standard lamp, toolkit, games, and all her craft materials in fact everything but the proverbial sink.

At least the house will be easier to keep tidy in her absence.

We eventually finished unloading late evening and are slumming it at the nearby Premier Inn in Derby. Had a quickly forgettable dinner at the adjacent Beefeater restaurant.
