Too soon

It seems no time at all since we were eagerly blipping new growth in the spring. Now the leaves are beginning to fall. Normous had a grumble about them as he swept them up off the lawn today, how he hates them! These pretty ones were under a tree in the village.
I visited the library this morning. I hope I have a better selection this month. The last lot were very depressing, and with with three out of the six I gave up half way through. Time was when I would never let myself do that, but now I think "what's the point in carrying on if I'm not enjoying it?"
