And then the heavens opened!

It's been quite a nice day apart from some continuation of the overnight rain. The sun even came out at times and it's been pleasantly cool.
late afternoon, shortly after 1800, I noticed it had started to rain and then seconds later this came down. It was torrential but only lasted about 20 minutes. Gave everything a good soaking, as if it needed it!
Much to the delight of Jonty and Foxy we have Charlie here for a sleepover just for tonight. They really don't bother with each other and she is quite at home here, even nips out now and then but only for 10 minutes or so at a time. Tends to sleep on the top bunk in the human boys room/office. She gets up via the desktop, windowsill and then up onto the bed.
