Charleston

We spent another lovely day exploring the beautiful city of Charleston in the sunshine :-)

We started by taking a horse & carriage ride around for an hour, learning (lots more) American history. We shopped in the famous covered City Mart, visited the Ryan Slave Mart (see extra) where African American slaves were sold from 1856 and the Old City Exchange & Dungeons.

The main blip shows the Dock Street Theatre and a wooden single house where the front door on the street leads only onto a covered porch.
