A pair....

....of double-crested cormorants, and the first I've ever seen here near us! I know there are lots of them in Wisconsin but they obviously don't hang out in the same areas as me! Tom and I sat and watched them for quite awhile, and just as we were going to leave, a large heron flew over and up into the trees. Sometimes it pays to just sit quietly.  :))
