Better
Took the opportunity of meeting friends for lunch in Glasgow to pay a visit to the Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum afterwards. (Given the heavy rain in the city on Thursday, quite a few other people did the same!)
Over the past few months, the gallery has hosted an exhibition called 'Frank Quitely- The Art of Comics', which closes at the end of September.
Frank Quitely is the 'pen-name' (for want of a better phrase) of Glasgow-born artist Vincent Deighan, and he has worked on artwork for many of DC Comics' best-known features and characters, as well as other commissions. It was a really enjoyable and fascinating exhibition, and well worth a detour, whatever the weather!
