After my recent visit to the Cathedral of the Isles in Millport, I asked D if we could make a labyrinth in our garden. After a little reading and research, he is now enthusiastic about the idea and today we began the project by choosing the site, measuring it and marking the centre with a stick. Most of the work (mowing the outline) will have to wait until Spring.
Although this book talks about a maze pattern, traditionally a maze is for getting lost in and a labyrinth is for finding. You can read more about labyrinths HERE
