crosses from Cromarty to Nigg during the summer, carrying just two vehicles, but they are so obliging. The skipper once turned back to pick me up after I had missed the sailing.
We had just been to look round Cromarty House for Doors Open day. A most interesting tour, given by the young son. 
We followed this with a visit to the Cromarty Bakery and a picnic at the Harbour.
